Organizations are at varying stages in their journey to adopt the public cloud. As of April 2019, Nerdio has launched a new plan called "NFA Core" for organizations who are just beginning their transition to the cloud. As the name suggests, “NFA Core” is a base plan, a non-desktop version of the existing NFA plans. NFA Core is designed to assist organizations take the first step towards adopting the cloud - leverage Azure for servers, backups, disaster recovery (DR) and IT infrastructure.

- NFA core is the most economical plan. The pricing for NFA core is by customer account unlike the other two NFA plans which are on a per desktop user model. You can always upgrade from NFA Core to a NFA Enterprise plan when your organization is ready to deploy virtual desktops and run your entire IT environment in Azure.
