Does OneDrive Sync Client Work with the Nerdio Desktops in Azure?

Yes, with OneDrive you can sync files between your NFA VDI/RDS desktops and the cloud. You can work on your NFA desktops with your synced files directly in File Explorer and access your files even when you are offline. Any changes made will be synced automatically, the moment you are online.

OneDrive will not work for RDS desktops using RDS Collections. User Profile Disks (UPDs) are needed in the RDS collection deployment scenario, which precludes you from using OneDrive client (installed) on the virtual desktop. With individual session hosts, user profiles are native (i.e. non-UPD) and work well with OneDrive installed client.

OneDrive will work with AVD pooled and personal desktops. AVD uses FSLogix for profile management. OneDrive is fully supported by Microsoft with AVD.
